Bordeaux Church was started at Easter 2014 with the following aims:
1) to be a city centre church. Central Bordeaux has over 200 000 inhabitants and there are too few Bible churches.
2) to show God's love in Jesus Christ for all the people of the world by uniting around the good news of Jesus and to communicate that love to all.
To begin with we are an English-language church worshipping in English - in simple English. However we want to become a multi-lingual church as soon as possible. We can imagine the following steps:
a. simultaneous translation of the messages into French, as soon as we have a suitable premises, equipment and interpreters
b. adding a French pastor to our team to be able to begin a French worship service.
c. perhaps following these same stages with other languages and communities.
